AASCA Service Project 2018: AZ Helping Hands

Stand Up for kids in foster care!

Thank you to everyone who has participated in the AZ Helping Hands service project! This has been a big undertaking and with your help we have collected enough items to fill 2,000 Dream Kits for Arizona Foster Kids.

Did you know? Foster kids are frequently placed in foster care with NOTHING but the clothes on their backs! These dreams kits will give the hygiene materials they need on a daily basis. The AASCA board members THANK YOU!

What to expect at the conference
When you sign in at the registration desk, you’ll be given a t-shirt, generously donated by AmeriPride. This t-shirt is for you to wear on ‘casual Friday’ which is when we will be putting together the bags.

All the donated items will be divided at tables and we will work together to stuff various color-coded bags to send back to AZ helping hands. This project will take approximately 1 hour to complete. AZ helping hands will be at the conference to talk a little about the organization and to collect the filled bags.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed. Together we will make a difference!
