Candy Rashaw RN
Candy Ranshaw is a RN currently living and working in the Phoenix area as the Director of Nursing for Squaw Peak Surgical Facility (SPSF), a spine focused ASC. She is married with three incredible kids who inspire her everyday to be a better person. Candy grew up in Michigan surrounded by family who taught her small-town values and the concept that there is no replacement for hard work.
Candy started her medical career in the emergency room at a Detroit, Mi hospital. Immediately following her high school graduation, she attended college to obtain her nursing degree. Later, Candy would relocate to Arizona and found an amazing opportunity to work for a pioneer in ophthalmology. She was the Clinical Director for the clinic and Director of Nursing for two outpatient surgery centers in Phoenix. The centers were very patient-care focused as well as cutting edge in technology.
For the past five years, Candy has been the Director of Nursing for Squaw Peak Surgical Facility (SPSF), a spine focused ASC formed in 1998 by Anthony T. Yeung M.D. an orthopedic specialist in minimally invasive spine surgery who was later joined by Christopher A. Yeung M.D. and Justin S. Field M.D. From her time working in the field of nursing Candy has learned much about success. She feels successful when value is added to the company, her life, and the lives of other people. Candy knows she is successful when her team achieves both their individual goals and their team goals. According to Candy, “ Always give your personal best, even in challenging situations.”
